Now you’ve got 20 minutes on stage. How do you make sure your talk actually moves people to action?


Here’s the secret: You need to spark connection, build momentum, and ignite action!


When your content aligns with where your audience is mentally and emotionally, you build trust, offer value, and make it easy for them to say yes to the next step.


Let’s break down each step.


Spark a Flame with a Shared Problem

Most of your audience is starting here. They know something’s not working. They know they want a transformation, but they might not know the cause or the solution.


Your job? Spark a moment of recognition. You want the audience to say “Oh wow, this speaker gets me.”


Use the first few minutes of your talk to:

  • Identify a pain point

  • Share a relatable story

  • Ask a powerful question

“Have you ever felt ______? You’re not alone” is a powerful opening line.


Fan the Flames with Possibility

Once they’re hooked, don’t jump straight to selling. You want to establish credibility and build true connection.


Use this section of your talk to:

  • Introduce your program, method, or unique approach

  • Share a client story or transformation

  • Explain how your solution works (but not all the details)


This is where you show that you’re not just aware of their problem—you know how to solve it.


Ignite – Turn the Flame Into Forward Motion

Now that they trust you and understand what’s possible, offer them a clear invitation to keep going.


This could be:

  • A free downloadable guide

  • Booking a discovery call

  • Signing up for a workshop (like mine!)

  • Filling out a contact form


Whatever it is, make it:

✔️ Simple

✔️ Specific

✔️ Directly tied to the transformation you’ve been talking about
